Important Dates for the 2025 Election
- 2025 SUNSCAD General Election Dates: Monday, March 31st – April 2nd (until 11:59 PM)
- Nomination Period:
- Opens: Monday, March 10 at 9:00 AM
- Closes: Monday, March 17 at 9:00 AM
SUNSCAD Positions for the 2025 Election
There are 5 Executive positions and 32 Council positions open for the 2025 election.
Executive Positions (Paid, Part-Time)
- President
- VP Academic
- VP Finance
- VP External
- VP Internal

Council Positions (Unpaid)
Council members work closely with the Executives by:
- Acting as liaisons between the group of students who are being represented and the Council.
- Organizing committees, as necessary, to better address the needs of students who are being represented.
- Maintaining the right to receive funding for the students who are being represented.
- Helping the Executive in the dissemination of the information and implementation of campaigns.
- Maintaining the right to sit on University committees as determined by the Council (not including SUNSCAD committees).

Nomination Process
To run for a position, you’ll need 15 signatures for an Executive position or 10 for a Council position.
