Course Offerings, Demands to The NSCAD Dean
[Academic Matters, March 2024]

We want to thank all of you who took the time to participate in the letter writing campaign to advocate for NSCAD to improve their course offerings for the 2024/25 academic year.

In a meeting with the NSCAD Academic Dean, attended by student representatives from a few different departments, we advocated for various specific changes to be made, as well as presented the following demands:

  1. That each degree details each term’s requirements for courses that need to be taken, to ensure graduation is completed within 4 years
  2. That the University ensures that every term, courses are at minimum offered in accordance with the degree path plan before the launching of the course registration.

If you continue to face difficulties based on the courses that are offered for the 2024/25 academic year, please do continue writing letters of complaint to the Dean, Jacqueline Warwick, and remember to Cc SUNSCAD.
